Outcomes, Inc.

Outcomes offers a comprehensive Employer Assistance Program (EAP) to support New Mexico businesses and their employees.  EAPs at Outcomes, Inc. are currently serving over 14,000 employees from more than 40 businesses and industries throughout the state of New Mexico.

We also offer trauma care services to businesses that have recently experienced a traumatic incident in the workplace.  Over the past 15 years Outcomes has conducted more than 400 critical incident debriefings to help employees cope with traumatic events in the workplace.

Employer Assistance Program

Our EAP has been shown to increase organizational effectiveness and decrease the incidence of employee problems. Our services focus on drawing out strengths and building assets of employees, and offers confidential counseling to help employees resolve personal or family issues that may be affecting their performance in the workplace.

Employers contract with Outcomes, Inc. to provide yearly employee assistance services at a fixed fee per employee. The number of pre-paid counseling sessions can be tailored to meet company needs, and employees who require counseling beyond the pre-paid visits are referred to specialized services as needed in accordance with their ability to pay.

Once a company joins the program, we create a package of employee assistance services specifically geared to fit the direction and needs of the organization.  All supervisory personnel receive training, especially in the areas of identifying and referring employees to the EAP program.

Outcomes then sends quarterly statistical reports to the employer, detailing the number of cases opened and collating them by age, sex, and other demographic measures.  Names of individual employees are not used for reporting purposes to assure confidentiality. All case records are kept strictly confidential.

Trauma Care Services

Outcomes also offers trauma care services to businesses in need.  When a traumatic incident occurs in the workplace, such as an industrial accident or a store robbery involving violence and/or death, everyone associated with it usually experiences anxiety or fear during the first few days or weeks following the incident.

Trauma Care Services includes a team of specially trained mental health professionals who are available to provide your organization with on-site debriefing sessions, crisis counseling, ongoing consultation, follow-up, and outside referrals where needed.
