Steve Nuanez, MSW, LISW – Chief Executive Officer

A graduate of University of California, Berkeley and Arizona State University, Steve has provided clinical social work services to a variety of populations in both rural and urban areas of California, Arizona and New Mexico since 1992.  Specializing in work with children, adolescents and families, Steve has developed an expertise in both direct clinical work and program administration.  Over the past 14 years he has focused on program development and administration with a commitment to supporting the mental and emotional health of people at home, work, and in the community.

Psychotherapy and Counseling / Employee Assistance Program

Bob Stice, MA, LPCC – Clinical Director

Bob Stice is Clinical Director for Outcomes. In that role he provides oversight and clinical supervision for Psychotherapy and Counseling programs. Bob has over thirty years of clinical experience in psychotherapy and counseling, including a number of clinical and administrative roles in behavioral healthcare settings. Prior to coming to New Mexico, he had a comprehensive clinical practice in the Texas Medical Center in Houston, TX, where he also worked in adjunct roles at Rice University and M.D. Anderson Cancer Hospital. In addition to his work at Outcomes, Bob maintains a busy schedule teaching retreats and conferences, including his work on the faculty of the CREDO Institute, a national program for wellness research and programming. He is a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and a professional member of American Counseling Association.

Meredith Link, MSW, LISW

Prior to coming to Outcomes Inc. in 2004, Meredith Link completed an internship in psychotherapy at Cambridge University Counseling Service, Cambridge, UK. After the internship she worked for 2 years at a youth crisis/counseling agency in Cambridge while her spouse completed an assignment at a nearby U.S. Air Force Base.  At Outcomes, Meredith works with children (ages 10 and older) teens, adults and couples.  Her preferred modalities are Solution Focused Brief Therapy as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  She is also certified in EMDR, a therapy which can be applied for certain trauma related experiences.  Meredith earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics at Portland State University in 1986.  She completed her Master of Social Work degree at Washington University in St. Louis in 2001.

 

Linda Snyder, MA, LPCC

Linda Snyder earned her BA in Psychology from Mill College in California, and received her Master’s in Counseling from University of New Mexico.  She has worked in the counseling field since 1965 in the area of child protective services, foster care, domestic violence and group therapy, employee assistance and general counseling. Linda has lived in Albuquerque since 1973. In addition to her therapy work at Outcomes, she is a classical piano teacher.

Joan Coppens, MA, LPCC

Joan Coppens is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a broad range of experience. She has worked with children, adolescents and adults with major mental illness, anxiety and depression, addictions of various kinds, occupation problems, family, parenting and relationship problems, and general problems of daily living.

Phillip Mann, MSW, LISW

Phillip Mann graduated Boston University School of Social Work in 1968, and has worked in the areas of child protective services and mental health counseling since. He specializes in child and family counseling.

Wendy Deluca, LMHC

Wendy has a Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA and a Certificate in Pastoral Counseling from Hillsong International Leadership College in Sydney, Australia.  Wendy provides counseling for the Employee Assistance Program and sliding scale clients.  She has facilitated numerous groups including Divorce Recovery, Healthy Communication, and Boundary Setting.  As a Navy Veteran, Wendy also has a special understanding of the needs of service members and their families.  In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, swing dancing, attending musicals, and playing with her Pomeranian, “Toby”.

Maria Laboy, MSW, LMSW

Maria Laboy graduated from University of Puerto Rico and has a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology. She is retired from CYFD in Albuquerque and has worked with children, adolescents, and adults.

Elaine Padilla, MSW, LISW

Elaine Padilla graduated from Indiana University in 1986 with her M.S.W.  She has worked in mental health for 24 years and is currently licensed as an Independent Social Worker in the State of New Mexico.

Rena Romero, MSW, LMSW

Rena Romero received her Bachelor degrees in Psychology and Social Work and her Masters of Social Work in 1996 from New Mexico Highlands University. Rena has been in the mental health care field for 16 years. She has been employed with the State of New Mexico as a Clinical Social Worker since 1996 and has worked part time with Outcomes since 2000. She enjoys spending time with her family in her free time.

Judie Harris, MA, LPCC

Judie Harris received her MA in counseling from Webster University in 1998 after retiring from the business world. She has worked in school, hospital, and community settings since that time focusing on children and adults. Because of her business background, she has worked in program development and administration as well. She found that she missed working directly with clients and she is pleased to be focusing on that again at Outcomes, Inc. Judie works with clients of all ages..

 

Terry Soter, MD, PhD

Dr. Soter is a licensed psychologist who received his analytic training at the Jung Institute of Chicago, where he has served three years as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees. He is a prescribing psychologist at Outcomes, Inc. and is in private practice in Santa Fe. He has taught psychoanalysis in Fort Lauderdale and at the Jung Institutes in both Chicago and Zurich. His thesis was a look into the imaginal communication between the analysand and the analyst. His areas of interest include psychopharmacology and its interface with psychoanalysis.

Sandoval Senior Connection

Lynn Huxtable, MSW, LMSW – Program Coordinator

Lynn has a Master’s degree in Social Work from New Mexico State University and has worked with older adults since 2001. She has been a case manager for medically fragile elders and currently serves as Program Coordinator for Sandoval Senior Connection, a peer counseling program for seniors. She has also worked with adults with major mental illness. Lynn believes strongly that seniors have much to give to their communities and to each other and she seeks to foster this awareness through her work.

Mediation and Conflict Resolution

Jeanette Martinez, MSW - Division Director

Jeanette Martinez is an experienced practitioner and trainer in the field of Restorative Justice.  She works in collaboration with the Juvenile Justice System in providing Restorative Justice Circles, Conferencing, and Mediation to young offenders who commit violent crimes or who are incarcerated. For the past 10 years Ms. Martinez has managed the Victim/Offender Mediation program in several counties in New Mexico which include Bernalillo, Sandoval, Santa Fe, Rio Arriba, and Chaves counties.  Her active role in advocating for Restorative Justice Programs and projects has been the catalyst for new and innovative Restorative Justice Programs being developed in New Mexico.   Ms. Martinez has served as an apprentice to Kay Pranis, a renowned practitioner, author, trainer, and pioneer in the field of Restorative Justice and the Circle process.  She also serves as program manager for the Grandparents raising Grandchildren program.
